Father's Day Card #techniquejunkies

 

I created this mixed media card with Father's Day in mind.

I started with some watercolor paper and stamped with a dark brown ink.  I then used inks to watercolor the image.  I ran it through an embossing folder then I cut it out with a stitched die from my stash and then grunged it up with some Distress Ink.

I made the mat layer with another embossed panel that was colored with the Distress ink and then coated with Distress Glaze to get a leather look.

I stamped the inside of the card base with the sentiment then let it dry.

I glued them together then added some twine and popped them up on a light blue card base.  I added the home made lure and we were done!
