In wanted to highlight some stamps that I have from a company called Technique Junkies.

I used the stamp from TJ called So She Danced. A beautiful little red rubber stamp that says so much.
This next one uses "Birthday Cat."  I stamped him with Ranger Archival ink in Ground Espresso and fussy cut him out.  I then used a water brush with some Tim Holtz Distress Oxides in Walnut Stain, Ground Espresso, and Vintage Photo. His hat was colored with Speckled Egg as well as the little present.
Finally, I was playing around with my Gelli plate and made some interesting backgrounds.  I could not have found a better place to put this stamp. It's called Peasant Girl. I don't really think she needs a sentiment at all. What do you think?

I played around with watercolor paper and gesso and some water soluble crayons with other mixed media and came up with this full background.

Here's what I got out of it. A set of six ATC with more mixed media and some Tim Holtz paper dolls.
I also got these two cards. The stamps are from a terrific little company called Visible Image. I love their stamps!  The equality one can be found here and the Teenage Kicks are discontinued, but I am sure if you search around you can find them!

It's been a minute since I posted anything. Not that I am not making, just too busy making to post.  This is a technique I learned from a wonderful maker called Natasha Foote.  Here is a link to the video tutorial for this technique.

Last card of the day.  I decided to give alcohol ink a fair chance and I am pleased with how the background came out.  The feather is a stamp from Catherine Pooler as well as a Catherine Pooler ink.

For this background I used a Boho embossing folder and stamps from Technique Junkies called Peace.

Another "failed" background that just didn't please me flat.  The dimension of the Tim Holtz embossing folder changes everything!

Another Gelli plate and stencil background.  I am afraid the picture does not show the detail in the Chuck's.

Here is another one of the backgrounds made with my Gelli plate.

I loved how this background came out. I used Simon Hurley's Bubble Wrap stencil with just a single color of Seedless Preserves.  The little pig stamp is from Red Rubber stamps.  The Love die is from Penny Black.  I created the circle using Hero Arts circle infinity dies and the same with the outline. I fussy cut the pig and added him to the inked circle then added the black circle around the outside.  I added glossy accents to the die and the black circle.

I got a Gelli Plate and thought I would play around with some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and make some backgrounds.  I made A LOT of them and vowed to actually use them in cards.

A couple of these were background colors that I wasn't crazy about so I ran them through an embossing folder. What a difference!  For this one I used Stamper's Anonymous Tim Holtz "Entomology" stamps and coordinating die. I colored with markers and then embossed with the TH Embossing glaze in Antique Linen. I raised the body with some Ranger Glossy Accents.  The tag is also Tim Holtz.

 More of the Valentine's series...

A technique I saw on Natasha Foote's channel. I cut strips of scrap and use double sided adhesive to glue them on to acetate.  I then cut out the circle with a circle die and then cut the talk bubble from that. Stamped the hello and die cut it as well.  The circle is then backed with adhesive foam and popped up on to the card.  The thanks used the leftovers!
