I have barely even touched my sewing machine. Damn thing sort of broke. Now if I try and sew anything thicker than normal cotton fabric doubled, the needle jams...lost power someplace. Now I have to hold out for a new machine before I start another serious project. I was twisting wire and it was so much fun, but I developed some pretty severe arthritis in my fingers and now wire twisting is too painful. Well, at least it has been cool enough to pursue my cooking hobby. Last night I made gluten free pizza for my friend. Used Bob's Red Mill pizza crust mix because the single ingredients for the GF crust were too expensive. The recipe calls for 2 TBSP of xanthan gum, but you have to buy a half pound at 6 bucks, same with red rice flour and tapioca flour. Anyway, it was a hit...even Mike liked it!
